Validation Engineer (Quality Assurance) - Lisbon / Portugal

For our location in Lisbon, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d).

Your role

  • Work as part of a project team to give response to issues and to implement measures on how to prevent them in the future
  • Be responsible to contact with the Service department giving technical support during installations or interventions
  • Be able to understand code and develop software to automate tests
  • Interact with the quality assurance and development team to debug issues and improve our system’s robustness
  • Manage requirements and overcome software challenges

Your profile

  • Strong technological background;
  • Good knowledge of Java & Python
  • Comfortable with remote assistance tools, such as Anydesk or Teamviewer
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and terminal language
  • Basic understanding of software architecture Acquainted with software version control (Git)
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to learn from others and adapt to our work culture
  • Used to work under pressure
  • Have an interest in software trends and new technologies
  • Support your colleagues to surpass themselves as their sparring partner
  • Very good communication skills
  • Good English skills
