To support our growth and strengthen our presence in the American market, we are seeking a Junior Sales Manager.

About SEA.AI

Using artificial intelligence and machine vision, we provide crews on boats and ships with the most accurate digital understanding of a vessel ‘s near-field surface surroundings. We make marine mobility safer and more convenient, providing a better mobility experience at sea.

We are also small enough that each team member has an influence on the way we work. To grow our business in the US, we are looking for a sales assistant in Miami.

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Inbound Sales: Manage and respond to incoming leads via email, phone, and CRM, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Outbound Sales: Identify and reach out to prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and other proactive sales strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects in the CRM system and report progress to the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns that generate quality leads and enhance brand awareness.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to inform strategy.
  • Represent SEA.AI at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Assist in planning and organizing event participation, including booth setup, promotional material, and lead tracking.
  • Follow up with trade show leads to convert prospects into opportunities.
  • Support senior sales staff in client meetings and negotiations

Your Profile and Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following profile and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a technology or maritime-related industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel for trade shows and client meetings as needed.
